The Vemetris® SCADA System allows monitoring and control of all the variables in the industry efficiently and in real time. Its web-based user interface allows operators to access anytime, anywhere through a web browser from your computer or smartphone without installing additional plugins.
Operates continuously and doesn't requires constant monitoring of operators, by setting different levels and types of alarms, the system will notify by EMAIL or SMS when require assistance.
Additionally you can create automatic emails of reports, containing a summary of what happened in the system including charts, statistics, alarms, and user reviews.
Its powerful database engine allows you to monitor up to 10,000 variables in real-time without noticeable performance loss of the user interface if you have the proper hardware.
The Vemetris SCADA system features a powerful and reliable core capable of processing data in multiple communication protocols present in the industry such as Modbus, SNMP, BACnet IP, dnp3, OPC and others. Also allows you to connect directly to the Xively* platform.
Like traditional SCADA, this system can display graphical views with different types of animated controls such as valves, motors, thermometers, galvanometers, etc.; allowing you to see graphically the behavior of the monitored system.
The user management can delegate responsibilities to different levels of system operation allowing to set schedules for sending alerts depending on personnel. The system also has a messaging platform that allows to comment events, so that staff could include some information about the event as: causes of failure, actions implemented, etc.
The alarm levels can be classified as: Information (White Alarm), Urgent (Yellow Alarm), Critical (Orange Alert) and life safety (Red Alert). The record is stored internally with all the occurred alarms in the system and the datetime it occurred and was recognized, including the name of the user who acknowledged.
Its development is based on Mango M2M project from Serotonin Software, running on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) thus allowing to be installed on servers with different operating systems. The hardware requirements will depend on the type of application.
